Family Ministries Team Purpose
The Family Ministries Team has provided many occasions to reach out and receive the current members and new members as they search for a closer relationship to God. Our purpose has been to nurture the families of the church by providing fellowship with our Christian families in an environment that focuses on Christ.
Family Ministries Team Activities
For the past three years the Family Ministries Team has sponsored a Family Fall Festival. Last year we teamed up with the United Methodist Men on this event for a fundraiser. The men took charge of the food with a pig roast and all the fixin's. The food was great!
The activities included Bobbing for Apples, Tug of War, Pumpkin Bowling, roasting marshmallows to make s'mores around a campfire and of course a hayrack ride. A fire truck was also on site for the kids to enjoy. Be sure to attend this year. Date to be announced.
A few other Family Ministries activities include: All Church Bowling, Ice Skating, Saturday Potluck & White Elephant Bingo, Christmas Caroling & Cookie Exchange and Night at the Movies. We have also sponsored Adult Night Out, where the adults of our congregation get together and go to dinner (this one is without the kids)! If you would like to be a part of this fun group contact
