Monticello United Methodist Church is governed by the policies, procedures, and doctrines established by the United Methodist Church and laid out in the "Book of Discipline."  In this light, we have five governing bodies, each led by a chair person, as required in all United Methodist Churches.  In addition to the mandated committees, Monticello UMC has created several ministry teams, led by coordinators, who vision, plan, and carry out the ministry of the church.
