Why We Remember	·September 11, 2011	Today, Pastor Rob will honor the 10th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks. Together, we will ask the question, “How do Christians view 9-11?”
New Beginnings: Meet the New Pastor	·September 18 (getting to know each other) ·September 25 (transition, grief, and new beginnings)	In this series, Pastor Rob will honor his predecessor, Pastor Sheila. In addition, he will share his own calling to ministry and his journey to this place we call Monticello.
Honoring Our Heritage – Exploring Our Future	·October 2 (the 1800s) ·October 9 (the early 1900s) ·October 16 (the late 1900’s) ·October 21 (the future) ·October 28 (the future)	In this series, Pastor Rob, along with a few special guests, will share with us the strong history at Monticello including the high points, and the challenges along the way. Together, we’ll explore where God has called this congregation in the past, and where God might be calling us to go in the future.
Lessons from First Grade	·Tuesday, November 1 (All Saints Day, special worship at 6:30pm in the chapel) ·November 6 (Giving thanks for our blessings) ·November 13 (Giving thanks for those that have gone before us—Veterans Day worship) ·November 20 (Giving thanks for God—Thanksgiving worship, followed at noon by Hanging of the Greens)	In this series that begins on a Tuesday evening to celebrate All Saints Day, we will give thanks to God and remember that everything we really needed to know, we learned back in 1st grade! Join us for this close look at giving thanks to God and enjoy a special view through the eyes of our youngest children.
Mary Did You Know	·November 27 (Hope) ·December 4 (Peace) ·December 11 (Joy) ·December 18 (Love, also join us again at 6:30pm for the special choir cantata, “Lead Me Back to Bethlehem”) ·Saturday, December 24 (Christmas Eve candlelight worship at 6:30pm and 11:00pm) ·December 25 (Christmas Day worship at 10:45am only)	Join us as Pastor Rob leads us on a journey toward the birth of Jesus Christ. We’ll ask the question, “Mary did you know?” and more important ask the question, “Do you know what God has planned for you?” Join us as we celebrate Advent with this special series, ending on Christmas day.
